Overview
NavLive is a UK reality-capture technology company spun out of robotics research at the University of Oxford. Its core product is a handheld LiDAR scanner that fuses edge-based AI with SLAM to deliver instant 2D and 3D site data, RICS-grade 1:100 surveys, and direct scan-to-BIM outputs. The system has already been deployed on live projects by engineering and construction firms such as Jacobs, AtkinsRéalis and Mace. NavLive employs 15 people and operates from offices in London and Oxford under CEO Chris Davison and CTO Dr. David Wisth. The company recently closed a £3.3 million seed round and previously secured a £700,000 Innovate UK grant, providing capital to scale its team and accelerate product development. With the new funding, NavLive plans to expand adoption of its technology across the wider built-environment sector.
