Oktogrid
Thoravej 24B, Copenhagen NV, 2400, Denmark
Overview
Founded in Copenhagen in 2019, Oktogrid builds a patented magnetic-adhesion sensor and an AI-driven software platform to monitor transformer condition, predict faults, recommend maintenance, optimise capacity and estimate remaining life. Its sensor installs in under 15 minutes and collects acoustic and operational signatures fed into the company’s analytics platform. The company reports more than 45 customers, including 12 utilities added in the last 24 months, deployments across three continents, monitoring of over 1 GW of critical infrastructure and over 5 million hours of transformer data in production. Oktogrid says its technology has detected 26 early faults, freed more than 8,600 hours of technical work, unlocked 198 MVA of additional capacity and extended monitored asset life by an average of 15 years. With the new €4 million round, Oktogrid intends to scale internationally, expand its fleet-management product capabilities and enter low-voltage distribution grid markets to broaden its addressable market.
