The company targets stretched middle-income households and working families that it says are underserved by traditional banking. It plans to use new funding to fuel customer growth, hire and expand its product offerings. One offers a digital banking service that integrates credit to unify saving, spending, borrowing and sharing in one account for middle-class American families. The product features a single card combining debit and credit, competitive savings interest, no monthly/overdraft/NSF fees, integrated lines of credit at lower rates, and account "pockets" for sharing money. The company is opening early access to a private beta as it rolls out these features. One announced a $17M Series A and the close brings total funding to $26M. The financing is intended to fuel growth and further develop the product. One was founded in 2019 and is based in San Francisco and Sacramento, led by co-founders Bill Harris and Brian Hamilton.
