Founded by Carnegie Mellon–trained roboticists Puneet Puri (CEO) and Vishal Dugar (CTO), Gritt develops an intelligent software layer that controls off-the-shelf skidders and robotic arms to perform dextrous construction tasks. Its initial deployed application unloads, carries, and positions large glass solar panels with sub-millimeter accuracy; Gritt reports that an eight-person crew with its systems can install 3,000–4,000 panels per day versus roughly 800 panels without them. The company has two systems in the field, three top-10 U.S. power construction companies as customers, and contracts covering 2.8 GW of panel installs over the next 18 months. Gritt plans to scale to about 48 systems in the next six months and expand its task set to include fastening panels, drilling posts, building racks, and other labor-intensive construction tasks like rebar tying. Management positions the product as a generalizable physical-AI layer that can also provide site monitoring and decision-support via its sensor suite.

Hostie provides an AI-powered virtual concierge platform for restaurants to manage calls, texts, reservations, takeout orders, private event inquiries, and general guest communications. Since launching, the company has scaled to hundreds of restaurant partners nationwide and reported a 10x increase in revenue over the past year. Hostie says it has handled more than 2 million guest conversations and 24 million messages, booked over 400,000 covers, and supported more than 50,000 private event inquiries. Its customer base includes independent restaurants and hospitality groups such as Flour + Water Hospitality Group, Riviera Dining Group, Bacchus Management Group, and others. Hostie plans to use new funding to accelerate product development and grow its leadership team as it pursues its broader vision of transforming restaurant guest engagement. The company is headquartered in San Francisco and is advised by former executives from OpenTable, Resy, and Yelp.

Radical Numerics develops large-scale biological AI to read and write whole genomes and to detect AI-generated pathogens. The founding team previously trained Evo and Evo 2, described as 40B-parameter models trained on trillions of DNA tokens and released as fully open source. The company previewed Omnii, which it says surpasses Evo 2 and is being further trained with additional modalities. Radical Numerics positions itself with a dual mandate: advancing biological design for human health and building technologies for biosecurity. It has announced partnerships to apply Omnii for early cancer detection with a diagnostics company and to pilot pathogen detection with a U.S. national lab. The company raised a $50 million Seed round to scale its models, grow the team, and accelerate its mission.

Gray Swan builds an AI security platform that combines real-time protection (Cygnal), automated adversarial testing/red-teaming (Shade), and a global red-teaming community (Arena) to detect and prevent dangerous model and agent behavior. Cygnal enforces custom enterprise policies in real time, while Shade runs automated pre-deployment adversarial tests as part of CI/CD, and Arena crowdsources attacks from more than 15,000 researchers to generate over one million attack trajectories. The company says its benchmarks are embedded in the safety evaluation processes of leading frontier labs and that it is cited in 11 recent frontier model system cards, including those from Anthropic, OpenAI, and Meta. Gray Swan works with over 20 customers and has partnerships with platforms such as Snowflake, including a native integration for runtime AI protection.
