Ordio

Cologne, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany

Overview

Ordio offers a modular People Operating System that centralizes onboarding, shift scheduling, paperwork and payroll for deskless sectors such as hospitality, healthcare, retail, logistics and manufacturing. The platform already automates gross wage calculations and replaces fragmented manual tools with smart automation tailored to non-office work. Ordio plans to launch Payroll Plus in summer 2025, the first fully automated payroll solution for deskless workers that handles full net payroll processing, bonuses, legal requirements and tax complexities in real time. Payroll Plus is powered by AI and aims to process complex wage calculations without human intervention. Today more than 1,500 companies rely on Ordio. The company recently raised funding to accelerate AI-powered payroll and process automation development. Founded in 2021 by David Keuenhof and Gregor Pilz in Cologne, Ordio provides an app to digitalize personnel files, preparatory payroll accounting, time recording, absence management, task checklists and real-time shift planning. The product has been available across all sectors since August 2022. Ordio involves employees in real-time shift planning and offers tools aimed at reducing administrative overhead for shift-based businesses. The company is used by more than 200 companies. Financially, Ordio has completed multiple financings, including a seven-figure angel round in August 2022 and a subsequent seed raise. The platform is positioned to scale adoption among companies with shift operations.
