Propseller

A-108a, Sector 58, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, 201301, India

Overview

Propseller offers an end-to-end real estate transaction platform that tracks leads and reports the expected conversion likelihood at each step, provides dashboards for sellers, and supports video and VR viewings. The company calls its licensed agents "consultants" and automates processes so consultants can focus on client relationships, enabling them to close about 55 transactions per year on average. By using technology to improve efficiency, Propseller charges a 1% commission rate versus the typical 2% charged by traditional agencies. Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Singapore, the startup currently has about 50 employees, including 20 salaried consultants. Propseller plans to use its recent Series A to scale its business model, expand its offerings and enter overseas markets, and intends to hire roughly 200 more staff across marketing, operations, product, engineering, sales and real estate teams. The platform emphasizes data capture across the entire sales process to identify optimizations and reduce the hassle of buying and selling property. Propseller pairs a proprietary technology platform with in-house agents to accelerate property transactions and handle tasks like valuations, virtual viewings and online dashboards. Its model reduces standard commission fees to 1% from 2% by increasing transaction velocity. The company says it handles about SGD 75 million in properties annually. During the pandemic Propseller’s revenue dropped roughly 80% quarter‑over‑quarter in Q2 but has been rebounding. Propseller positions itself to disrupt traditional agents rather than classifieds sites, differentiating from listing platforms like PropertyGuru and 99.co and from FSBO-focused competitors like Ohmyhome. The platform’s existing digital tools allowed agents to continue working through Singapore’s circuit breakers without needing accelerated digital adoption. Propseller is a Singaporean platform that helps prospective property sellers and landlords find and compare the best property agents by surfacing independent reviews and agents' track records. The service presents a list of the top 3–10 estate agents within one minute based on user criteria and agent performance. On the agent side, 500 handpicked agents from agencies such as PropNex, ERA and Sotheby’s have joined and allow clients to rate their services. In its first 12 months the startup put up for sale and rent a combined property value of S$500 million. The company closed a S$1 million seed round to accelerate growth and further develop its technology focused on transparency. Propseller positions itself as complementary to property-listing portals by helping owners find the agents who will market their listings.
