The company has emphasized user experience, hiring a Hollywood designer to shape its UI rather than relying on traditional, chart-heavy security dashboards. CEO and co-founder Scott Chasin positions ProtectWise as driving a shift from prevention-centric endpoint security to integrated detection, visibility and response. The company says the new funding will help propel its growth into 2016 and support delivery of security at scale via its utility model. Early adopters come from the media & entertainment, technology, financial services and healthcare sectors. The company raised more than $17M in financing and intends to use the funds to scale business operations and continue product development and innovation. It was founded in April 2013 and is led by CEO Scott Chasin and CTO Gene Stevens.
