Overview
RippleMatch operates a recruitment automation platform that replaces job boards with matching and automation to bring opportunities directly to candidates at over 1,500 schools. Its customers include Amazon, eBay, Teach For America, SAP, and General Mills. The company intends to use new funding to continue its growth and to triple the number of candidates who find a job through the platform this year. RippleMatch plans to double the size of its internal team and continue investing in developing new technology to drive value for customers and job seekers. The company is New York-based. It recently raised $45M in a Series B financing. RippleMatch provides an intelligent recruiting platform that combines automation and data insights to increase recruiter productivity, reach, and diversity. The platform enables recruiters to connect with every student seeking a job regardless of where they attend school. Within a single platform RippleMatch offers candidate sourcing, diversity recruitment, recruitment marketing, employer branding, virtual events, and recruiting analytics. The company recently launched RippleMatch CRM to help employers hire early career talent virtually, build diverse teams, and improve candidate experience. RippleMatch is led by CEO Andrew Myers and intends to use new funding to continue building out its intelligent hiring platform. RippleMatch operates an AI-powered recruitment platform that matches employers with recent graduates using roughly 300 data points drawn from resumes, GPA/test scores and external sources. Candidates complete a short questionnaire and the system generates targeted matches to surface talent employers might otherwise miss. The company’s matching algorithms are designed to cut out the recruiter "middle man" and level the playing field for applicants from non–top-tier schools. RippleMatch partners with about 1,200 diversity-focused campus organizations and reports roughly 100,000 candidates on the platform, with 60% from underrepresented backgrounds. It has agreements with about 60 companies, including customers such as Pfizer, TripAdvisor and Qualtrics. The new funding will be used to expand the platform and for business development. RippleMatch offers an end-to-end, machine learning-powered recruitment tool that matches vetted college seniors with employers using detailed student profiles and employer-defined hiring preferences. Students complete a roughly 10-minute signup capturing class year, school, major, skills, values, test scores, CV, internships, and extracurriculars; companies maintain pages with backgrounds and office photos. Recruiters filter candidates by school, location, GPA, experience, and other factors, and see ranked results via a Fit Score and badges for standout attributes. The founders, Yale graduates Eric Ho and Andrew Myers, built adoption through grassroots outreach to top clubs on over 100 campuses, including Yale, Harvard, and Stanford. RippleMatch reports that over 80% of students who begin the survey complete it, that a quarter of Ivy League seniors use the platform, and that 60% of candidates are selected for a first-round interview. The company recently raised $3 million in a funding round led by Accomplice and Bullpen Capital. Ripple Recruiting is a New York City–based hiring platform focused on the college recruiting market. Co‑founded by Andrew Myers and Eric Ho, the company provides students with tools to create data profiles that reveal academic achievements, professional experiences, and career preferences. On the employer side, Ripple offers a SaaS platform and customized scouting reports to help companies find, target, and hire college students. Its customers range from nonprofits to Fortune 500 companies. The company raised $700k in seed funding and intends to use the proceeds to grow its team. Ripple plans to begin national expansion in early 2017.
