The company is led by Founder and CEO Aron Alexander and uses its global network to serve medium and enterprise businesses. It intends to use the new funding to continue expanding operations and its business reach. WeGift is a London-based incentive marketing platform that enables businesses to issue e-gift cards and digital rewards through a cloud-based, open API. The platform pairs real-time infrastructure with analytics to automate sending incentives and to help companies track ROI on campaigns. Founded in 2016 by Aron Alexander, WeGift has grown its network to more than 700 brand partners across 30 markets, supports 20 currencies, and claims hundreds of clients including Vodafone, Samsung, Perkbox and Sodexo. The company reports 317% annual revenue growth and has opened a New York office. WeGift aims to digitize the $700 billion rewards and incentives industry, which remains largely powered by legacy systems for physical gift cards. It plans to use new capital to expand real-time infrastructure, build supply-chain integrations with brands, and develop product features for corporate marketing teams focused on acquisition, activation and retention at scale. WeGift provides a cloud-based platform and open API that lets businesses automate the ordering and real-time delivery of e-gift cards and digital rewards. The product targets the fragmentation and manual processes in rewards distribution, replacing emails, CSVs and PDFs with automated APIs. WeGift claims an ever-growing network of more than 500 brand partners across 26 markets and 20 currencies. The company positions itself as the "Twilio for e-gift cards" and likens its model to Stripe applied to non-cash payouts. The Series A will fund further scaling of operations, investment in the technology platform, and support expansion to the U.S. The CEO is Aron Alexander, who emphasizes tracking impact on the customer journey as a key advantage for businesses using the platform.
