Scenery is a collaborative video-editing platform that enables teams to storyboard, ideate, upload and manage media content in real time. The company’s latest product debuted in June after founders Mike Folgner and Ryan Cunningham built prior video-editing tools. Scenery’s stated goal is to shift video editing from a single-player desktop activity to a multiplayer, web-based workflow likened to Google Docs or Figma. For the past six months it has been trialed by video editors, companies, and student groups and is now available in beta. Target users include political campaign teams, creative agencies, and student groups, with the founders hoping to expand adoption to filmmakers and Hollywood editors over time. The company recently closed a $14.6 million Series A to support product development and growth.
