Seederal develops a 160‑horsepower electric tractor and has prototyped an initial unit with support from prior investors. The company plans to use new funding to continue R&D, accelerate hiring and deliver a production-ready 160‑hp tractor by 2026. Its product targets the medium-power agricultural segment (100–200 hp), which represents a deep European market. Seederal positions its tractors as a decarbonization tool, estimating a reduction of 15–20 tonnes of CO2 per unit per year (about the annual emissions of 17 cars). The startup highlights the tractor’s role across all cultivation stages and aims to provide energy- and emissions-saving machinery at scale. Earlier support from Bpifrance, Région Bretagne and Crédit Agricole du Finistère helped fund the prototype phase.
