Founded in 2021 and headquartered in Toronto, Shakudo sells software that lets companies integrate leading AI models into their existing tech stacks without the need for large DevOps teams. Enterprises in finance, healthcare, aerospace, energy, and retail—including Loblaw Digital—use Shakudo to cut AI development cycles from months to days. The 35-person company recently opened offices in Silicon Valley and Bangalore and launched an AI agent called Kaji, described as a virtual senior engineer that is both technically deep and business-minded.
