  • YieldVault

    Participated · Seed · Dec 2025

YieldVault is a San Francisco-based, community-driven savings platform built to democratize access to premium market rates once reserved for accredited investors. The service offers a dual-tier model: a free crowdsourced marketplace where savers share and discover the best savings and CD rates, and YieldVault Pro, a managed account that automates rate optimization via a mobile app with virtual debit-card functionality. By combining community rate intelligence with professional management, the platform helps users secure yields above 5%, compared with the 0.01% averages at traditional banks. YieldVault was created by the founding team behind YieldStreet (now WillowWealth), leveraging their proven expertise in alternative investments for the mass-market savings segment. The company plans to use recent seed financing to scale global operations and expand its product suite. Although no revenue or user numbers have been disclosed, management positions YieldVault as a next-generation solution for retail savers seeking higher returns and greater transparency.

  • Zenskar

    Participated · Seed · Oct 2022

Zenskar builds an AI-native billing and revenue automation platform designed to handle complex B2B pricing models such as usage-based tiers, prepaid credits, amendments, customer hierarchies, and multi-entity/multi-currency structures. Its architecture models contract data as objects on a graph and combines rule-based calculations with purpose-built AI agents to automate order-to-cash processes. The company offers an Agents Marketplace for finance teams to create, customize, chain, and deploy agents without engineering involvement, plus integrations like a Slack agent and an MCP that links to major AI tools. Zenskar positions its platform to replace error-prone workarounds and in-house systems used by customers with bespoke pricing or high-volume usage. The company reported 5x revenue growth in the past year and cited customer outcomes such as faster billing, earlier collections, and faster close times. Zenskar's stated vision is to enable Zero-Touch Finance by expanding its agentic capabilities and reducing manual finance operations.

  • Composer

    Participated · Equity · Sep 2022

Composer Technologies provides an automated investing platform that allows users to build, backtest, and invest in strategies via a no-code editor. An in-house investment team sources ideas from academic research and the work of investment funds to provide templates that can be used off-the-shelf or modified. Each strategy goes through a rigorous screening process and aims to capture upside while protecting downside. The platform targets investors who want automated, market-reactive strategies with no-code customization. Composer is led by CEO Benjamin Rollert and is Canadian with a US focus. Financially, the company raised an additional $6M in this round, bringing total capital raised to over $11M. Composer offers a no-code visual editor and ready-made strategies that let individual, non-professional investors create, backtest against historical data, and automatically execute sophisticated, hedge fund–style trading approaches. The platform launched a closed beta in March 2021 and moved to an open beta rollout in November 2021, with live trading initially focused on the United States and plans to expand to other geographies over time. Composer is targeting “edge-seeking” retail investors who spend time on newsletters and Reddit forums, and plans later to broaden to more systematic self-directed retail users. The company emphasizes user experience and design as a key differentiator versus incumbent trading platforms. Composer disclosed C$6.73 million in previously unannounced seed financing (totaling amounts from an earlier pre-seed and seed) to fuel the platform launch. Longer-term monetization plans mentioned by the CEO include building a two-sided marketplace for creators to sell strategies, freemium features, and potential SaaS offerings.
