Synop builds a software platform to orchestrate charging, routing and day-to-day operations for commercial electric vehicle fleets. The platform ingests fleet and route data to assess electrifiability, provide confidence intervals for routes, and optimize charging schedules to prolong vehicle life. It is being designed to be vehicle-class and use-case agnostic, supporting a range of commercial vehicles from Class 2 to Class 8, including school buses, garbage trucks and electric semis. Synop is developing vehicle-to-grid (V2G) management features to allow fleets to monetize battery assets while ensuring required state of charge for routes. The company separates customer data on request and positions itself as a neutral, interoperable software layer for commercial EVs and chargers. Synop announced a $10 million seed round to support its product and growth.
