Tatum provides a blockchain development platform that speeds creation of blockchain applications by reducing complex blockchain operations to single lines of application code. The platform includes pre-built features such as smart contracts, fee and payment solutions, real-time alerts, virtual accounts, crypto-exchange functions and a key management system. Its framework incorporates 42 different protocols and integrates APIs to fit into existing development processes. After roughly $8M in initial investments, the company completed the platform and began attracting customers ranging from Fortune 500 firms to startups, and it participated in Berkeley SkyDeck in 2021. Tatum reports over 90,000 customers and is adding more than 7,000 new customers per month. The company plans to use the new funds to accelerate marketing, educational efforts and community building.
