- Tapaya
Led · Seed · Apr 2026
Tapaya builds a software layer that consolidates compliance, certification, and processor integrations to enable in-person payment acceptance on Android, iOS, and other commercial devices. Founded in 2025 by Laura Ďorďová, Roman Kuchařík, and Petr Zahradník and based in Prague, the company aims to turn standard hardware into payment terminals and shorten integration timelines from months to days. Tapaya is already working on integrations in the Czech Republic and is expanding partnerships across Central and Eastern Europe and the Baltics. The startup is preparing to complete PCI MPoC certification as part of its product roadmap. Financially, Tapaya recently closed a €1M pre-seed round led by Passion Capital with Depo Ventures co-leading and follow-on capital from BADideas.fund.
- Cork
Participated · Seed · Jan 2026
Cork is building a protocol that supplies tokenized risk infrastructure, enabling standardized pricing, market-driven hedging, and redemption-liquidity backstops for on-chain assets such as vault tokens, yield-bearing stablecoins, liquid (re)staking tokens, and real-world assets. The system lets asset managers and issuers spin up custom swap markets to enhance redemption liquidity, improve risk transparency, and bolster market confidence. Its composable risk primitives integrate directly with ERC-4626 vaults and other yield-bearing ERC-20 assets, making risk management a native, programmable component of on-chain finance. Future plans include bringing the company’s first risk markets into production, expanding integrations with vault and asset issuers, and supporting regulated product pathways. Cork has secured $5.5 million in seed funding to finance these initiatives, providing the capital base for continued product development and market launch.
- CryptoSwift
Participated · Seed · Jul 2025
CryptoSwift offers a plug-and-play compliance solution that requires the lightest integration effort on the market to help crypto firms implement the Travel Rule. Its platform automates the collection and sharing of sender and recipient identity information to meet emerging global regulatory standards. The company has signed partnerships with AML Watcher, Global Ledger, Scorechain and Fraud.com, and lists early clients including Change Invest, Crypto2Cash and Crypto Voucher. Tallinn-based CryptoSwift raised a €510,000 pre-seed round backed by Tenity, Startup Wise Guys, DEPO Ventures and a group of industry angels. The funding will be used to grow the team, expand market reach and accelerate adoption across the EU. The raise comes as MiCA and updated FATF guidance will make Travel Rule compliance mandatory in the EU by the end of 2024, with the transition period ending in 2025, creating urgent demand for its solution.
- Traxlo
Participated · Equity · Jun 2025
Traxlo is a Lithuania-based platform that transforms physical labour into verifiable, outcome-priced tasks distributed locally via a worker app (tasku.app). Businesses buy guaranteed outcomes rather than hourly presence, while workers choose when and how they work and receive weekly payments. In three years the marketplace has delivered over 300,000 physical tasks and started collaborations with 60% of the largest commerce players in Europe. Traxlo raised €1.6M to expand its pay-per-task labour infrastructure across Europe, with launches underway in the Czech Republic and Romania. The company plans to deploy an AI engine (tasku.ai) using LLM agents and computer vision to automate task creation and completion checks and to add agentic AI capabilities. Its roadmap also includes deeper automation and integration of physical robotic workers into the same task marketplace. Traxlo operates a marketplace and mobile app (Tasku) that connects local gig workers with grocery stores and FMCG brands to perform retail execution tasks and improve in-store performance. The company currently operates in select cities across Sweden, Lithuania and Poland, offering flexible work opportunities for locals. Traxlo says the platform helps retailers improve efficiency and drives sales growth while creating extra income and social value in local communities. The startup has positioned its product around flexible, easy-to-do tasks that fit workers’ schedules, according to user testimony. To date Traxlo has raised roughly €1.1M in pre-seed investments to accelerate its mission and expand services. Investors and partners cited plans to drive growth in Poland and support expansion into other markets.
- Kardi Ai
Participated · Equity · Apr 2025
Kardi AI produces an AI-powered chest strap that combines ECG measurement with AI-driven analysis to detect heart arrhythmias. The device is positioned as a continuous-monitoring alternative to traditional 24-hour Holter monitors, enabling daily measurements to improve detection of intermittent irregularities. The company has helped detect over 250 serious cases of arrhythmia and collaborates with more than 20 hospitals and roughly 130 cardiologists. Kardi AI is preparing a clinical trial in partnership with university hospitals in Olomouc and Ostrava to advance clinical validation. It recently closed a €1.1M funding round to support international expansion and further clinical validation. Initial expansion targets include Poland, Slovakia, Bulgaria and Romania, followed by the United Arab Emirates and India. KARDI AI develops a software-as-a-medical-device that connects with chest straps to capture ECG recordings during everyday activity and over extended periods. The myKARDI app evaluates the recordings with advanced artificial intelligence and shares analyses with attending physicians, alerting them to detected arrhythmias. To develop its AI components the company collaborates with Bulgarian AI consulting firm Childish.AI. Founded in 2022 by Dr. Tomáš Skála, Stephen Burke, Pavel Digaňa, and David Skala, KARDI AI works with more than 70 cardiologists and neurologists and has 600 users. The startup positions its service as affordable and simple, with pricing the company compares to a family Netflix subscription per month for full real-time monitoring. KARDI AI plans to shift from a treatment-focused product to a preventive screening tool and to accelerate expansion into additional markets using the new funding. Kardi AI pairs a Polar chest-belt wearable with a mobile app and cloud platform to enable unlimited ECG monitoring and real-time AI analysis. Their AI stack cleans noisy signals and a neural network annotates beats and suggests courses of action to users while summarizing long-term recordings for cardiologists. Co-founders are cardiologist Tomas Skala (chief of medical and research) and serial entrepreneur Stephen Burke (CEO). Initial development is split between Prague (product development) and a planned machine-learning and AI team in Sofia, Bulgaria. The team has run an initial patient trial measuring 160 patients and is annotating beats by expert cardiologists to create a gold standard, targeting over a million beats. Kardi AI will use its funding to bring the product to market starting in the Czech Republic and then expand to other markets.
