  • Digital Asset

    Led · Series F · Jun 2026

Digital Asset builds and operates the Canton Network, a public, permissionless Layer 1 blockchain that provides protocol-level privacy and confidentiality guarantees and runs applications written in its open-source smart contract language, Daml. Canton is designed to enable tokenized asset workflows across multiple parties while keeping transaction data confidential, and it has attracted marquee institutional participants including Visa, Goldman Sachs, and DTCC. The network has processed or issued more than $6 trillion in tokenized assets according to prior reporting, and Visa became a Canton Super Validator and added Canton to a stablecoin settlement pilot. The Canton ecosystem has also seen activity such as a $540 million raise by Canton Strategic Holdings (formerly Tharimmune) to build a Canton Coin treasury and a project called Zenith completing atomic swaps between Canton and an EVM-compatible environment. On the financing front, Digital Asset raised $135 million in June 2025 and $50 million in December 2025, and is now pursuing a roughly $300 million round led by a16z crypto. The company is backed by trading firms and banks including DRW Holdings and Citadel Securities.

  • OpenTrade

    Participated · Equity · May 2026

OpenTrade provides infrastructure that connects stablecoins to diversified yield strategies for fintechs, neobanks, exchanges, treasuries, and asset issuers, allowing clients to offer dollar- and euro-denominated yield products without building their own custody or investment systems. The company has expanded beyond core infrastructure into a permissionless protocol layer that issues transferable, position-tracking tokens and launched Curation+, a suite of vault curation and institutional-grade strategy services. OpenTrade reports more than $200 million in total value locked and processed over $250 million in transaction volume in 2025, and counts partners such as Littio, Midas Kripto, and Glim. Its roadmap includes scaling its infrastructure, formalizing regulated asset management oversight within Curation+, and growing engineering, asset management, and customer success teams. The company intends to scale globally and support a broader range of retail and institutional use cases as demand for stablecoin yield infrastructure increases with the expanding stablecoin market.

  • Future Primitive

    Participated · Equity · Apr 2026

Future Primitive builds Checkpoint, a deliberately simple photo booth that photographs a face, prints the image on receipt paper instantly, and can create a lightweight digital account tied to the moment. Since its commercial launch, Checkpoint has been deployed at more than ninety locations across cities including New York, Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco, Toronto, Vancouver, Tokyo, Seattle, and Chicago and has been used by over one million people. The company has partnered with brands and cultural institutions such as Nike, Reebok, A24, Universal Music Group, MoMA PS1, LACMA, and the LA Dodgers. Future Primitive keeps a share of brand-funded activations, licenses units to venues, and runs large-scale event installations, though it has not disclosed revenue. The team designs hardware in-house and includes founders with blockchain backgrounds who co-authored ERC-6551; the on-chain layer is used as infrastructure to enable receipts, collectibles, and lightweight wallets tied to attendance. The company operates with about fourteen employees across its New York and Vancouver offices.

  • Better Money Company

    Led · Seed · Apr 2026

Better Money is developing a unified infrastructure layer to allow institutions to move seamlessly between regulated USD-backed stablecoins. The company was co-founded by Sam Broner, a former a16z crypto investor, and Adam Zuckerman, previously a lawyer at Latham & Watkins and general counsel at Eigen Labs. Better Money has secured partnerships with Paxos, Stripe’s Bridge and MoonPay to integrate its clearing infrastructure. Its platform will support tokens compliant with the GENIUS Act, including USAT, and will exclude USDT in its current form. The product is expected to launch in the coming weeks. The company raised $10 million in a seed round led by a16z crypto to fund development and launch.

  • Kairos

    Led · Seed · Feb 2026

Kairos is building a unified, cross-platform terminal that allows professional traders to analyze and execute positions across multiple prediction market venues such as Polymarket. Founded by former Cboe Global Markets employees Jay Malawa and Zaid Alzein, the company aims to solve the fragmentation of information and poor user experience that currently hampers prediction market trading. The product aspires to serve as a comprehensive trading workstation, offering integrated analytics and execution tools in one interface. With only the two co-founders on staff today, Kairos plans to use its newly raised capital to expand headcount and roll out a private beta, accessible via a waitlist on kairos.trade and through X (formerly Twitter). Early testers can already experiment with an alpha version of the terminal on the website. The company believes growing volumes on platforms like Polymarket underscore the need for institutional-grade infrastructure in this space. Its $2.5 million seed financing provides the initial resources to scale product development and market entry.
