Certifier is a Warsaw-based SaaS digital credential infrastructure provider offering an API-first platform for issuing certificates, diplomas, and digital badges. Its system handles all stages of the certification process, including document creation, process management, distribution, analysis, and hosting. The company reports rapidly growing revenues, with over 80% of revenue coming from the UK, US, and Canada. Certifier plans to invest in product development and continue building its API-first platform. Prior backers include business angels Bartosz Majewski and Marcin Deręgowski and Black Pearls VC. Certifier.me builds verifiable infrastructure to manage digital credentials, certificates, and diplomas for universities, businesses, and institutions. The company’s mission is to create a trusted infrastructure that becomes the standard for digital certificate issuance, storage, and verification. Its platform is designed to replace scanned PDF certificates and improve credentialing efficiency without printed documents. The solution is already used by more than 50 universities, companies, and organizations, including the University of Melbourne, Salesforce, Australian Pacific College, Sofia University, and the ASEAN University Network. Certifier is at an early stage and raised €260k in a pre-seed round; the funds will be invested in building an API and SDK and scaling sales processes. Founders include Vlad Turak and Sergey Butko, and investors are contributing both capital and sector know-how.

  • Swotzy

    Led · Seed · Aug 2023

Swotzy provides SaaS shipping software that enables eCommerce businesses to optimize shipping strategies and select best-fit carriers without navigating complex contracts or integrations. The platform helps customers save on shipping costs and delivers insights on delivery performance and optimal carrier setups. The company was founded in August 2022 and is led by founders Lauris Rutkis, Kristians Jenciuss, and Jekabs Hincenbergs. Swotzy plans to accelerate product development and strengthen its presence in the Baltic market. It also intends to initiate work on data analysis tools to enhance its offering. The recent pre-seed funding supports these near-term product and market-expansion efforts.

  • Tapline

    Participated · Seed · Dec 2022

Tapline offers non-dilutive financing to B2B SaaS and subscription businesses by pre-financing future receivables, supported by AI-driven credit technology. It can fund companies with as little as €15K MRR and also provides advanced AI-powered analytics. The platform serves clients across Germany, Estonia, the Czech Republic, and Poland, with further expansion plans to be announced. Tapline combines credit assessment technology with larger ticket sizes to address liquidity gaps faced by subscription businesses. The company has raised capital to scale operations, expand its platform, and continue serving existing customers while remaining capital-light through a bespoke debt facility. Tapline provides revenue-based financing (RBF) that delivers non-dilutive working capital to startups based on monthly recurring revenue, using an algorithmic underwriting process that can fund businesses in less than 48 hours. The company focuses on serving SaaS businesses in the DACH and CEE regions and will provide financing to companies with MRR levels as low as €8,000. Tapline emerged from stealth alongside its public reveal and highlights a founding team—Dean Hastie, Dmitrij Miller, and Peter Grouev—with more than 25 years of relevant experience. The business plans to use new capital to enhance its current solution and to hire in marketing and product. Tapline is entering an increasingly crowded RBF market and faces competitive pressure, including a recently released AI-driven offering tied to the team behind EQT Ventures’ Motherbrain. The company combines algorithmic underwriting with a low-MRR entry point to target underserved smaller SaaS firms.

    Led · Seed · Dec 2021

Founded in 2020 in Vilnius as HeavyFinance, InSoil began by funding tractors for Baltic wheat farmers and has evolved into a data-driven agricultural lender. The company offers mid-term loans to farms adopting regenerative practices such as no-till farming, cover crops, and crop rotation, and incorporates soil science into its credit process. Over the past year the firm has completed three major fundraisings—a €50 million EIF-backed fund, a carbon-credit financing partnership, and the €120 million EIF-guaranteed institutional credit facility—demonstrating a layered capital approach. The company positions itself to scale transition financing for agricultural SMEs by combining underwriting, data, and government-backed guarantees.
