In conjunction with the funding, software industry veteran Robert Beasley was named CEO; he began working with Tethr in 2015 and has served in several executive roles since that time. The company completed a $15m funding round. The round was led by IAG Capital Partners with participation from existing investors GroTech Ventures, MissionOG and Falmouth Ventures. Tethr will use the new funds to accelerate investments in sales and marketing. In conjunction with the funding, early investor and Chief Operating Officer Gary Clark was named CEO while co-founder Mike Mings will take a corporate strategy role and continue to serve on the Board of Directors. Tethr provides a platform that combines artificial intelligence and human intelligence, leveraging customer loyalty insights from major consulting and research institutions to help companies gain business value from each customer conversation. The solution aims to give organizations a full and accurate understanding of what is said and meant by customers and employees during phone exchanges. It also enables companies to apply those insights to other engagement channels and business units via integrations with popular BI and CRM tools. Led by CEO Mike Mings, Tethr focuses on advancing key enabling technologies to support enterprise customers. The company plans to use new funding to build out its team, scale business operations, and expand sales and marketing efforts. Tethr recently raised $15M in Series A funding to support this growth.
