217 Broadway Floor 9, New York, NY, 10007, United States

Overview

Tomorrow Health operates a data-driven marketplace that matches patients with home-based care suppliers across 40,000+ products and services, accounting for quality, specialization, insurance coverage and geography. Its fully integrated platform tracks and manages care from prescription through insurer billing to fulfillment, reducing friction for providers, suppliers, payors and patients. The company reports outcomes and efficiency gains including 45% less time spent by medical providers ordering and managing home-based care, 60% less time for suppliers processing orders, 97% of patients starting care on time (vs. a 50% industry average), and 15%+ savings for payors. Tomorrow Health says its marketplace covers millions of Americans through partnerships with insurers and suppliers and maintains a national footprint of tens of thousands of providers and hospital systems, partnering with more than 125 leading health plans and hospital systems. Financially, the company is accelerating to 317% ARR growth year-over-year from 2021 to 2022. Headquartered in New York City, Tomorrow Health plans to expand its team with business development, engineering, product and operations hires across the country. Tomorrow Health is a NYC-based patient-first platform for home healthcare led by co-founder and CEO Vijay Kedar. The company provides a platform that enables patients to obtain the equipment and supplies they require by partnering with payors, referring providers, and DME suppliers. Its data-driven intelligence platform matches patients with high-quality DME suppliers based on insurance coverage, service quality, geography, and product specialization. Since its public launch in April 2020, Tomorrow Health has partnered with more than 125 health plans and hospital systems. The company raised a $25M Series A led by Andreessen Horowitz with participation from Obvious Ventures and BoxGroup, and Julie Yoo of Andreessen Horowitz is joining the board. Tomorrow Health will use the capital to hire additional talent and expand its infrastructure technology to connect every patient with home-based care. Paul Mango and Roy Beveridge have joined its advisory board. Tomorrow Health provides a platform to streamline procurement of in-home healthcare products such as orthotic supports, mobility equipment (walkers, wheelchairs), CPAP machines and other respiratory hardware. The company connects insurers with customers to remove confusion and introduce transparency around what patients receive and what they pay. It was founded by Vijay Kedar (a former Oscar Health executive) and Gabriel Flateman (Casper co-founder) and emerged from stealth with the goal of modernizing the under-digitized equipment-supply piece of home care. The idea was driven in part by Kedar’s experience managing his mother’s care during a serious illness. The startup positions itself to benefit from trends toward aging in place and increased at-home care adoption amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Financially, Tomorrow Health launched with a $7.5M seed raise led by Andreessen Horowitz.
