TracXon has developed a roll-to-roll (R2R) manufacturing process and its R2R VIA Printer to print double-sided electronic circuits directly onto flexible, recyclable films, eliminating copper, solder, and toxic chemicals. The company offers printed electronics as a service and has attracted over 20 co-development partners and customers across more than 10 countries. TracXon plans to industrialise its hybrid printed electronics (HPE) technology and roll out its first commercial printer units by mid-2027. The startup aims to scale production and build custom equipment to cut costs and carbon emissions by as much as 80 percent, per its internal estimates. It targets applications in IoT, MedTech, automotive, consumer electronics, wearables, and embedded smart surfaces and has set a goal to replace at least 10% of PCBs by 2033.
