Unisers develops a particle monitoring platform that uses surface-enhanced Raman scattering to identify the source of contamination in semiconductor manufacturing. Its system detects the size, concentration and composition of particles with sensitivity and molecular specificity, enabling monitoring of defectivity of individual process chemicals. By pinpointing contamination sources it aims to improve product yield and lower the carbon footprint at chip manufacturing plants. The company is led by founder and CEO Ali Altun and is based in Zurich, Switzerland. In February 2023 Unisers raised $14M in seed funding to accelerate delivery of its commercial products to leading semiconductor partners by 2023.
