Its platform also handles insurance and billing and supports prescription fulfillment to streamline the patient experience. UpLift launched in May 2021 in DC and VA with BCBS CareFirst as its first health plan partner, has expanded into Maryland, and has partnered with United/Optum, Cigna and BCBS Anthem. The company plans to more than double its geographic footprint in 2022 and is expanding its hybrid model services to include psychiatric treatments. UpLift raised capital recently to support that expansion and continued buildout of its integrated-care infrastructure.
