The company leads with psychotherapy and coordinates care among psychotherapists, psychiatrists and primary care providers to close behavioral healthcare gaps. Its platform also handles insurance and billing and supports prescription fulfillment to streamline the patient experience. UpLift launched in May 2021 in DC and VA with BCBS CareFirst as its first health plan partner, has expanded into Maryland, and has partnered with United/Optum, Cigna and BCBS Anthem. The company plans to more than double its geographic footprint in 2022 and is expanding its hybrid model services to include psychiatric treatments.
