Overview
Urfuture develops a social-first hiring platform that replaces traditional CV screening by using behavioural science and AI-driven matching to connect Gen Z entry-level candidates with employers. Founded in 2023 by Tom Keighley, Jayel Williams and Holly Hobbs, the app launched in late 2025 and has been downloaded over 50,000 times and seen more than 160 million social views. The platform has gathered 2.4 million behavioural data points to refine its matching engine and is used by employers including Tesco, British Airways, West Midlands Police and Scottish Power Electricity North West. Early outcomes reported include notable improvements in candidate diversity for clients (one employer saw diverse applicants rise from 8% to 47%). With £1.7M in seed funding, Urfuture plans to launch a white-label behavioural profiling and screening tool, roll out a self-serve product for SMEs, and grow its sales, marketing and engineering teams to scale adoption.
