- UrFuture
Led · Seed · Apr 2026
Urfuture develops a social-first hiring platform that replaces traditional CV screening by using behavioural science and AI-driven matching to connect Gen Z entry-level candidates with employers. Founded in 2023 by Tom Keighley, Jayel Williams and Holly Hobbs, the app launched in late 2025 and has been downloaded over 50,000 times and seen more than 160 million social views. The platform has gathered 2.4 million behavioural data points to refine its matching engine and is used by employers including Tesco, British Airways, West Midlands Police and Scottish Power Electricity North West. Early outcomes reported include notable improvements in candidate diversity for clients (one employer saw diverse applicants rise from 8% to 47%). With £1.7M in seed funding, Urfuture plans to launch a white-label behavioural profiling and screening tool, roll out a self-serve product for SMEs, and grow its sales, marketing and engineering teams to scale adoption.
- Deltabase
Led · Equity · Dec 2025
Deltabase is a Liverpool-based startup whose AI platform quantifies “people factors” such as culture, talent and workforce dynamics inside competing organisations. By combining data science with human-capital analytics, the product delivers actionable intelligence for consulting, HR and transformation teams, complementing traditional financial and customer metrics. Blue-chip firms including PwC, KPMG and Mercer already rely on the technology, signalling early market validation. The company positions its offering as essential for boards that now compete on culture as much as capital. Newly secured funding will be channelled into expanding the data science and engineering teams, accelerating product development, and improving explainability to shorten time-to-value for customers. These initiatives aim to meet rising enterprise demand and support global scaling from the North of England.
- Fotenix
Led · Equity · Apr 2025

Fotenix intends to use the new funding to support hiring, expand UK deployments and further develop its diagnostics engine. The startup was founded by CEO Dr. Charles Veys and is based in Salford, UK. It is forecasting over £500K in ARR in 2025.
- Trigify
Led · Equity · Aug 2024
Trigify.io builds an AI and deep-data analytics platform that generates 'Triggers'—buyer-intent signals drawn from digital platforms, news feeds and job boards—to help sales operations target high-propensity prospects. Founded in 2023 by Max Mitcham and Hugo Millington-Drake, the Welsh firm combines multiple digital signals to prioritise outreach for sales leaders. The product creates actionable prospecting alerts to make outbound sales more targeted and efficient. Trigify is onboarding additional datasets and digital signals as it targets wider sectors. The company has raised up to £1 million in funding from River Capital and Haatch Ventures to support its growth. CEO Max Mitcham said River Capital's connections in data and sales will be invaluable for improving Trigify's AI model for predicting buyer intent. River Capital's fund:AI investment director David Walters noted the platform's potential to transform the outbound sales process and cited go-to-market diligence by Martin Sutton.
- Autonomo Technologies
Participated · Seed · Mar 2024
Autonomo builds checkout-free software that enables retailers to convert existing stores into cashierless experiences where customers tap a payment card or phone and are tracked by computer vision. The platform anonymously tracks shoppers, itemises picked products and automatically charges payment when shoppers exit, while providing inventory and behavioural recognition to deter theft and reduce shrinkage. Launched in 2021, Autonomo has proven successful in Germany in petrol stations, convenience and grab-and-go stores. The company says it is on target to automate the largest number of cashierless shops in Western Europe by the end of this year and plans to bring its computer-vision-powered checkout solutions to the UK. Autonomo has raised a total of £3.8 million to date.
