Overview
Founded in 2022 by former executives of Tesla and Rappi, Vammo operates a subscription-based electric motorcycle rental service targeting app delivery drivers and motoboys. Its plans offer monthly or annual subscriptions that include unlimited battery swaps and vehicle maintenance. Vammo currently reports more than 7,000 motorcycles in circulation and about 600 battery-swap points in São Paulo. The company’s vehicles are manufactured in the Zona Franca de Manaus. Vammo has raised multiple rounds since inception, including a 2022 Seed led by Construct Capital (US$8.5M), a late-2023 Series A led by Monashees (US$30M), an October 2025 round led by Ecosystem Integrity Fund (US$45M), and the recent R$75M investment led by EXT Capital. The latest funding is earmarked to expand fleet size and the battery station network in São Paulo, with an ambition to triple its local fleet.
