VistaPath develops Sentinel, an AI-based pathology processing platform that delivers solutions for critical lab workflows. Its first application, released in 2021, is a tissue grossing platform that automates receiving, assessing, and processing tissue samples. Additional applications are slated for release later this year. The company is led by CEO Timothy Spong and is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. VistaPath secured $4 million in seed funding to support expansion of operations and ongoing product development. The funding will be used to accelerate development and broaden the platform's applications across pathology lab processes.
