The platform integrates through APIs with services like GitHub and Heroku to automate testing and deployment; it is currently free and in private beta. The team is considering integration with Cloud Foundry to target enterprise hybrid and private cloud markets, and plans to add the service to the Heroku Add-On Marketplace and build out for AWS. Wercker competes with services such as CloudBees, CircleCi and CloudMunch. The company participated in the 2012 Rockstart Accelerator and Mozilla’s WebFWD program, and received help from NexusLabs in refining its pitch. It has assembled an advisory board including Dan Harple, Jan Pieter Scheerder and Arthur van Hoff.
