Yakoa provides tools and an indexer that detects copies or infringement probabilities on original NFTs, ranging from direct forgery to partial or stylistic forgery. The platform notifies platforms, brands, or creators of fraudulent activities and conducts attribution searches to determine where an asset might be derived from. It identifies an NFT’s first existence across multiple blockchains including Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche and Polygon, and the company says supporting every blockchain is on its roadmap. Yakoa acknowledges many edge cases where two assets can be similar and not fraudulent and provides mechanisms to record users' opinions. Long term the company aims for fraud protection to run in the backend for platforms and to spawn additional IP-protection services. The team plans to expand its machine learning and data engineering functions using new capital.
