Yummy began as a meal-kit business (Clean Kitchen) started by the co-founders in Estonia in 2020 and is opening its meal-kit service in Poland. The company raised a $3.6 million angel round from a collective of Estonian founders and angel investors to expand meal-kit availability and further develop its generative-AI features. Co-founder and CEO Martin Salo and CBO Karl Paadam emphasize that the AI will learn user preferences to automate recipe creation and simplify grocery shopping.
