Overview
Ziticity operates a last-mile delivery platform offering affordable same-day deliveries to local businesses. Its on-demand solution allows local e-shops and restaurants to optimize and distribute deliveries in real time without relying on distribution centres or paying high commission fees to shipping or food delivery platforms. The company was founded in 2017 by Laimonas Noreika, who serves as CEO, and is based in Vilnius, Lithuania. Since launch it has been used by over 2,700 companies across France and the Baltics, including Telia, Tele2, Pizza Hut and the Euroapotecha pharmacy network. Ziticity raised a €2.2m seed round in June 2020. It intends to use the funds to expand across Europe and enter several new countries. Ziticity is a Vilnius-based logistics startup (founded in 2017) that provides a last-mile on-demand delivery platform connecting small e-commerce stores with gig-economy couriers called “Zitters.” The company positions itself as an “Uber for things,” offering an average delivery time of 42 minutes and a marketed 45-minute service. Ziticity currently operates in Vilnius and has expanded into Tallinn, and it works with major delivery services while planning collaborations with supermarkets and further city expansions. The team is led by co-founder and CEO Laimonas Noreika and has won hackathons and accelerator recognition, including Startup Wise Guys B2B SaaS Batch 12. Financially, Ziticity recently completed external fundraising to support growth and expansion efforts.
