Peping develops shelf-stable functional beverages, offering a dual product line of flavoured prebiotic fizzy sodas for everyday refreshment and concentrated probiotic shots for targeted digestive support. By positioning itself between niche kombucha labels and clinical probiotic capsules, the company seeks to provide great-tasting, affordable options for mass-market Indian consumers. Its drinks are currently available on Swiggy Instamart, Zepto, BigBasket, First Club, Namdhari’s, Ratnadeep, and more than 200 brick-and-mortar outlets across Bengaluru, as well as in gyms, cafés, and corporate offices via catering partnerships. Peping has built its own production facility from off-the-shelf components and brought canning in-house to lift margins and improve quality control. With fresh capital, the founders plan to widen distribution, reinforce supply-chain capabilities, invest in brand building, and roll out additional flavours. Founded by brothers Chirag and Prateek Maheshwari, the startup recently secured Rs 2.5 crore to accelerate these initiatives.
