Onalabs develops continuous, non-invasive physiological monitoring technology that extracts biomarker information from sweat. Its ONASPORT product, which monitors markers linked to athletic performance such as lactate, dehydration and electrolyte loss, is already commercial; ONAVITAL, aimed at clinical applications, is undergoing clinical and regulatory validation. The company was founded in Barcelona by Elisabet del Valle and Xavier Muñoz, has a team of around 30 people and holds six patents protecting its technology. Onalabs runs pilots with more than ten hospitals and has strategic collaborations in sports, including an enhanced partnership with FC Barcelona and initiatives with companies such as Garmin. Financially, the company has completed prior financings including a €1.5 million seed in 2022 and a 2023 bridge round, and has obtained over €4 million in competitive public grants.
