The company originated through the acquisition of RunYourPool and OfficeFootballPool and now partners with media outlets, professional leagues, teams, athletes, and influencers to deepen fan interaction. During the 2023 NFL kickoff, Splash guaranteed more than $6.4 million in contest prizes, a 500 percent increase from the previous year, highlighting rapid growth in user engagement. New funding will expand the product suite, accelerate marketing efforts, and support additional partnerships, particularly within its fast-growing golf vertical. The company positions its product for elite athletic and commercial fitness markets through combined hardware and analytics. Proteus Motion is a NYC-based sports and healthtech company (formerly Boston Biomotion) that has developed patented hardware and software delivering intelligent strength training and rehabilitation via unlimited three-dimensional movements. Its system is designed to strengthen, optimize and restore sport movements, protect joints and ligaments, and enable faster recovery. The technology has gained particular traction in the pitching community for arm care, improving biomechanics, pitching velocity and rehabilitation from Tommy John surgery. Proteus’s products are used by teams in MLB, NHL and top NCAA athletic programs, as well as prominent training and rehabilitation facilities worldwide. The company offers a software subscription that lets trainees access training content, track trends and receive personalized insights, leveraging 50 million data points captured to date. Proteus plans to use new funding to develop and manufacture its software products, conduct R&D on Version 2 of the Proteus system, and grow its subscription user base.

The company plans to expand its operations, invest in its data platform and build a wider variety of game types.

Kero will use the proceeds to fund growth across pro sports teams and media platforms and to expand to licensed gaming operators. The company announced a planned launch of a real-money wagering version of its technology tailored to sports betting operators in Q3 2022. Kero also added senior executives from OpenBet and MIT/UC Berkeley to its team. Leadership emphasized a vision that future growth in sports betting will rely on algorithmic curation to engage casual fans.
