Polatis said it will use the $2.7M in venture capital to accelerate new product development, further ramp in-house manufacturing capability, and expand business development resources. The funding was provided by the company's existing investors. Investors named include Flagship Ventures, JK&B Capital, DFJ Esprit, Encore Ventures, Alta-Berkeley Ventures, Massachusetts Technology Development Corp., Prism VentureWorks and Gainesborough Investments.
