Apparel Media operates an online SaaS marketplace that links brands and advertisers with local and national screen printers to subsidize custom apparel for groups (teams, schools, clubs) by selling ad-supported shirts. Advertisers can target specific groups, add logos, QR codes, or special packaging, and the platform routes orders to partner printers who earn supplemental revenue. The company says discounts for consumers range from 20–80% and that its platform reaches 35 million consumers per year across more than 5,500 local markets. Brands using the service include AXE, OfficeMax and Hertz, among other high-profile advertisers. Apparel Media is building an in-depth analytics dashboard to give advertisers campaign data and targeting insights. The founders, Amish Tolia and Jared Golden, previously ran a custom apparel printing business while at university and launched Apparel Media last year. The business reports growing traction and has raised external funding to support expansion.
