Founded at the end of 2024, Neocad is developing an AI agent designed to integrate with companies' CAD and PLM systems to surface project history, identify existing components and support generation of new models from simple textual inputs. Leadership comprises three young co-founders: CEO Luca Licciulli, COO & Head of Sales Alessandro Toia, and CTO Ahmed Shahhat, who leads the platform's engineering architecture. The company plans to focus initial commercialization on Italian manufacturing firms while pursuing international customers over time. Its recent €550,000 pre-seed raise will fund further technological development — with emphasis on system integrations — and market validation activities.
