Horizn Studios is a Berlin-based smart luggage company that sells the M5 hard-shell cabin suitcase, which includes a front pocket for laptops and a removable power bench that can charge smartphones and tablets up to six times. In 2018 the company launched Horizn GO, a free concierge service in partnership with Quintessentially that offers curated travel plans, bookings, insider tips and discounts or upgrades at over 2,000 hotels. The Hamburg-based startup works with 100+ partners and provides an assortment of over 1.2 million products. It recently launched in France and the Netherlands and plans to add another five European countries by the end of the year. The company says the product reduces the need to browse individual retailers by aggregating price and availability across stores (including sizes and colours). StyleLounge monetizes by receiving kickbacks for leads: partner shops pay a cost-per-click (CPC) that is optimized based on traffic performance. Founder and CEO Johannes Heinen leads the business, which also counts Felix Jahn as a co-founder.
