  • Build on Bitcoin

    Participated · Equity · Aug 2025

Build on Bitcoin (BOB) is creating a technology stack that makes Bitcoin-based DeFi possible, positioning itself as the “Gateway to Bitcoin DeFi.” Its core product is the first hybrid zero-knowledge (ZK) rollup designed for Bitcoin, which the team has already brought to testnet. BOB has also launched a BitVM bridge in collaboration with institutional partners and introduced the first Bitcoin intents system that offers one-click BTC access across major chains. The project plans an imminent token generation event (TGE) and a full transition to community governance, reflecting its goal of decentralized ownership. To date, BOB has secured more than $25 million in funding, comprising $21 million from seed and strategic rounds plus a recently completed community sale. This capital is being used to refine its rollup technology, expand cross-chain connectivity, and onboard users and developers into Bitcoin-based DeFi.

  • Ranger Labs

    Participated · Equity · Jan 2025

Ranger Labs runs Ranger Finance, the first dedicated perpetuals aggregator on the Solana blockchain. The product steers user orders through more than fifteen liquidity venues, aiming to minimize slippage and curb MEV leakage. It has already processed over $1 billion in cumulative trading volume, signaling substantial early adoption. By unifying fragmented perpetual markets, Ranger positions itself as core trading infrastructure for advanced crypto participants. The company plans to launch its native RNGR token via a large-scale public sale on MetaDAO in January 2026, allocating 10 million tokens (39.02 % of total supply) to the event. A built-in “buy-wall” will use any funds raised above the $6 million minimum to repurchase RNGR at the sale price, targeting price stability. Proceeds are expected to deepen liquidity, expand venue integrations, and accelerate product development. Aside from the $1 billion volume figure, no additional revenue or user metrics were disclosed.

  • Blitzy

    Participated · Equity · Sep 2024

Blitzy builds an autonomous software development platform that reverse-engineers enterprise environments, constructs a persistent knowledge graph of codebases, and orchestrates thousands of agents in parallel to execute multi-week to multi-month development projects. The platform integrates state-of-the-art models from providers including Google, Anthropic, and OpenAI, running these models 100,000+ times on each run, and achieved a record 66.5% score on SWE-Bench Pro. Blitzy reports adoption across dozens of Global 2000 customers and says its platform can drive up to 5x engineering velocity for some large enterprises. The company has more than doubled headcount in the past six months and plans to expand its research team, scale go-to-market operations, and broaden partnerships—particularly in regulated sectors like government, financial services, and insurance. Financially, Blitzy raised $200 million in a growth round at a $1.4 billion valuation to fund these initiatives.

  • Zest Protocol

    Participated · Seed · May 2024

Zest Protocol provides a lending protocol built specifically for Bitcoin, enabling users to deposit BTC through native Bitcoin transactions and then engage in lending or yield-generating activities. The company leverages upcoming Stacks Nakamoto and sBTC blockchain upgrades to create a fully Bitcoin-native lending experience. Using sBTC’s peg-in wire format, users deposit BTC to fund their balance on Zest Protocol. Its lending infrastructure is currently live on Stacks mainnet with Stacks market as it prepares for the sBTC launch. The company says it will use the funds to expand operations and development efforts. Zest Protocol is based in George Town, Cayman Islands and raised $3.5M in seed funding.

  • Drosera

    Participated · Seed · Feb 2024

Drosera builds an Ethereum-aligned security automation layer using customizable Solidity “Traps” that let protocols define security parameters and deposit funds to incentivize third-party operators to detect and respond to threats. The system models an immune response: node operators run the Drosera Client to monitor Ethereum data and execute emergency responses when breaches are detected. The network has attracted over 25 protocols to its Testnet, including Ion Protocol, EtherFi, and Gravita, and has partnerships with node operators such as Infstones, Everstake, Cosmostation, a41 and Blockscape, as well as security specialist GoPlus. Drosera plans to use the recent funding to accelerate product development, hire personnel, and prepare for a mainnet launch scheduled for Q2 of 2024. Financially, the company has closed a raise bringing total capital to $4.75 million. Drosera is a trustless, decentralized project that detects exploit activity and mitigates economic losses on the Ethereum network. It functions as a decentralized automatic response system and provides a framework to create and execute automated responses to events on Ethereum. The platform is built to detect vulnerability exploitation and reduce associated economic damage. Drosera completed a $1.55 million seed round. Investors in the seed included Anagram, Arrington Capital, UDHC, Comfy Capital, Bodhi Ventures, Metamatic, BaseDAO, Asymmetric, Zeal Capital, Everstake, 01Node, Marin Ventures, Infinite Capital and NxGen.
