Obé Fitness is a premium subscription home workout platform built around personality-driven, “entertrainment” classes delivered by charismatic instructors and influencers. The service is available on iOS and Android, is castable to TVs, and is offered on Samsung smart TVs. It has expanded beyond bodyweight classes to include equipment such as free weights and trampolines. At a $27 price point the company positions itself at the higher end of the market compared with Apple Fitness+ and Peloton’s monthly fees. Founded in 2018, Obé saw its userbase grow fourfold during the pandemic, though it does not disclose absolute subscriber counts. The company says the new capital will be used for team growth, awareness, and key business development initiatives.
