- ECOCO circular economy
Participated · Series A · Feb 2024
ECOCO (凡立橙) builds AI optical sorting and compression machines (two models: 循環方舟 and 智慧回收島) integrated with an IoT platform to classify waste and reject contaminated items (e.g., >5% food residue). The company says its technology can detect PET bottle color and produce recycled materials that meet US FDA and EU EFSA standards, enabling partnerships with end-of-line recyclers and a reported 150% uplift in gross margin. ECOCO was founded in 2017 and has installed about 120 machines and connected to over 6,000 retail stores, collecting bottles, batteries, milk and glass containers, and other recyclables. The founder, 李漢揚, expects revenue to grow roughly 10x year-over-year due to technology improvements and commercial expansion. Raised funds will be used to add 500 service sites in Taiwan, establish an R&D center for more recycling categories and custom machines, expand standalone outdoor kiosks, and accelerate Southeast Asia and China market entry starting in Q3.

Rosetta.ai was launched in 2016 and currently serves a client base of over 1,000 Asian businesses, from small and midsize Shopify merchants to larger brands including L’Oréal, Codibook, and Blue Way. The startup plans to use new funding to develop fashion-optimised personalization products and to broaden its talent pool. It intends to expand into the US and Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) markets.
