  • Aerix Systems

    Participated · Equity · Feb 2024

Aerix Systems, founded in 2020, builds the AXS Micro, a small, highly agile aerial robot with a 40 cm wingspan, 4 kg weight and a top speed of 200 km/h. The machine can fly on its edge or back, execute abrupt direction changes and operate in winds up to 100 km/h. Aerix targets defense counter‑drone use—particularly against FPV drones—and industrial inspection on hard‑to‑reach sites. After a €1.6 million raise in 2024, the company secured an additional €5 million to industrialize production. Its immediate plan is to launch manufacturing at a rate of several hundred units per month. The new funding is intended to support that production ramp.

  • inVirtus Technologies

    Led · Equity · Mar 2020

Invirtus Technologies builds a real-time connected service that filters relevant data for customers across asset tracking, inventory management, key indicators (asset flowmaps and heatmaps) and staff security. The company was co-founded by Raphaël Pantais and Frédéric Belhache and is described in the article as founded in 2017; it operates with an 11-person team. It is developing a new mini geolocation tracker designed to be energy independent by harvesting heat, wind, vibrations or sunlight, planned for release at the end of the year and intended ultimately to take the form of a label similar to RFID. The startup has hired a sales manager and two developers and has begun marketing its solutions in the Benelux and the United States while expanding across France, the rest of Europe and the US. Financially, the company has completed three fundraises since creation and uses new funding to continue R&D and scale its service platform. Prior rounds included €90K from Audencia and the Central School and €150K raised on the Ayomi crowdfunding platform in late 2019.
