  • Cloudburst Technologies

    Participated · Series A · Sep 2025

Founded in 2022 and based in New York, Cloudburst Technologies aggregates and analyzes millions of off-chain data points from Telegram groups, forums, regulatory filings and news sites. Its proprietary AI models surface real-time intelligence on fraud networks, illicit actors, social sentiment and other risks that are not visible on the blockchain itself. The platform is used by regulators, law-enforcement agencies, crypto exchanges, compliance teams and investors seeking early warning signals and narrative monitoring. Cloudburst is already engaged with major exchanges, compliance teams and government agencies. With the new funding, the company plans to expand its AI and data-science teams, accelerate product development and scale globally. The firm aims to establish its product as the industry standard for off-chain crypto intelligence. To date, Cloudburst has raised $11 million in equity financing, including the recent Series A.

  • Tally

    Participated · Series A · Apr 2025

Tally provides a software platform for onchain organizations that began as a DAO governance tool and has evolved into a widely adopted infrastructure stack across Ethereum and Solana. Its product suite supports every phase of an onchain organization's lifecycle: Launch (onboarding users, issuing tokens, distributing power), Operate (treasury management, smart contract upgrades, funding initiatives), and Grow (composable staking extensions to accrue value). Tally powers infrastructure for protocols including Arbitrum, Uniswap DAO, ZKsync, Wormhole, Eigenlayer, Obol, and Hyperlane. The platform currently reaches hundreds of thousands of users onboarded through its launch tools, and collectively these users have moved more than $1 billion in assets using Tally's infrastructure. The company says it will use the new funding to accelerate its mission of becoming the software layer for onchain organizations and to scale its infrastructure for the onchain economy. 1kx noted it has participated in every round since inception, underscoring continued investor support. Tally is developing a governance dashboard aimed at improving transparency and participation in decentralized finance (DeFi) governance. The product focuses on making protocol elections and governance activity easier to understand and act on. The project will initially concentrate on the Compound ecosystem while working with a number of other platforms. Tally says better tooling will help scale decision-making as protocols grow. The firm has received early support including a $50,000 Uniswap grant and has now raised additional external funding. Founder Dennison Bertram has framed the effort as addressing an underdeveloped component of the $44 billion DeFi sector.

  • Magma

    Participated · Seed · Oct 2024

Magma is a decentralized liquid staking protocol built on the Monad Network that will issue gMONAD as its liquid staking token. The protocol is designing MEV infrastructure to maximize extractable value during block production on Monad. Magma plans to enable users to stake Monad tokens, retain liquidity via gMONAD, and earn staking and restaking rewards through an integration with Ether.fi. The team has established partnerships with a broad set of validators and DeFi primitives to support its launch and security posture. With a $3.9M seed raise, the company intends to further develop its liquid staking platform and MEV architecture. Founders David Mass and Meir Bank bring prior experience from Citibank and AngelDAO and say the project will launch on testnet before moving to mainnet, alongside a community points program.

  • Hypernative

    Participated · Series A · Sep 2024

Hypernative is a Tel Aviv-based provider of real-time monitoring, risk detection, and automated response for Web3 that uses machine learning, heuristics, simulations, and graph-based detections. The platform tracks onchain and offchain data and identifies over 300 risk types across smart contracts, bridges, frontends, market manipulations, and private key theft. Its product set includes Guardian, a real-time transaction security solution that simulates the outcome of every transaction before approval, and integrations into wallets, exchanges, sequencers, liquidity pools, and frontends. Hypernative said it detected over $2.2 billion of losses in 2024 and is used by more than 200 customers to help protect over $100 billion in assets, while network coverage has expanded to 60+ chains. The company plans to expand its offering to include fraud prevention and wallet-level transaction protection as part of an end-to-end Web3 security platform. New funding will also be used to expand AI capabilities through higher-quality training data and to support team growth and customer-facing risk analysis and support. Hypernative provides a real-time monitoring, risk-detection, and automated response platform that protects Web3 applications and identifies the majority of attacks, giving users minutes to respond before exploits can do damage. The platform has expanded its network coverage to more than 40 chains and added hundreds of detectors. More than 100 Web3 projects use Hypernative, including Balancer, Chainlink, Circle, Quantstamp, Solana, Starknet, and Uniswap. The company has launched Hypernative Security Oracle, an inline solution to block attackers without degrading user experience, and Hypernative Screener, which screens addresses to identify risks prior to authorizing transactions. Led by CEO Gal Saige and based in Herzeliya, Israel, Hypernative plans to expand into new security stack verticals, build a Web3 security network, extend its global reach, and grow its team. The company intends to establish real-time monitoring and response as a standard security practice. Hypernative focuses on preventing web3 cyber attacks by detecting threats before they occur. In September the team launched Pre-Cog, a platform that monitors on- and off-chain data sources to predict threats. Since launch the company says Pre-Cog has helped users save tens of millions of dollars. The startup emphasizes "building detection early" and manually integrates tools into customer workflows. Its ideal clients include asset managers, hedge funds, traders, market makers, blockchains and protocols. Hypernative plans to build prevention workflows that provide end-to-end systems to mitigate risk without user intervention.

  • Pi Squared

    Participated · Seed · Jul 2024

Pi Squared provides ZK-based verification services that aim to implement trustless remote computation, AI, and interoperable smart contracts for any blockchain or dApp. The company uses zero-knowledge techniques in a correctness-focused and unique way to deliver these guarantees. It plans to create a universal, compact ZK circuit that checks the integrity of mathematical proofs and provides verifiable computation correctness directly from formal semantics. That design intends to support all languages and virtual machines without translating to a single common language, VM, or instruction set architecture. Pi Squared completed a $12.5M seed financing led by Polychain Capital. Other investors include ABCDE, Bloccelerate, Generative Ventures, Robot Ventures, Samsung Next, and angel investors such as Justin Drake (Ethereum Foundation) and Sreeram Kanaan (founder of EigenLayer).
