Workee is a US-based no-code back-office platform for freelancers, founded by Ukrainian founders in Spring 2020. The product integrates personal websites, booking and scheduling, online payments and invoicing, a CRM, and video calls to replace or consolidate tools like Calendly, Wix, Zoom, and PayPal. Its stated core audience is teachers, tutors, and trainers, though the platform is presented as flexible for all gig workers and lets users pick only the features they need. Workee launched largely free and retains a free plan while offering a Pro plan for advanced features such as group calls; the team has monetized gradually and built a community. The founders relocated first to Lithuania and later to the USA due to Russia’s offensive; planned uses for new funding include developing a B2B direction and adding more features to strengthen US presence. Workee provides a no-code back-office SaaS for freelance professionals — including coaches, health experts, consultants, tutors, and lawyers — to manage client appointments, accounting, invoices, clients, and workflows in one place. The platform automatically creates personal brand websites and connects them to the back office for workflow optimization and promotion. Founded in 2020 and based in Kiev, the startup has recorded over 3,000 sign-ups. Workee plans to triple its team in 2022 to support rapid growth and to expand its active user base to over 50,000. The company aims to establish itself as the default back-office software for online professionals by focusing on functionality and connectivity with external tools.

Finmap is a cloud-driven cash-flow management and analytics platform used by thousands of SMEs and available via web and iOS. Its interface is organized into income, outgoings and balance transfers and integrates with 2,800 banks across Europe as well as Wise, PayPal, Revolut and other money services. Paid-for foreign users rose to 36% from 11% over the past 12 months, reflecting recent overseas expansion. The company is pushing localisation and plans to expand in Poland and Turkey, plus market in English- and Spanish-speaking countries. Proceeds from the latest round will also fund hiring and product development, including planned invoicing features. Finmap was founded in 2019 and previously raised an initial round in its second year and a further round in 2021 when Dymitro Dubilet joined the team. Finmap synchronizes with user accounts via an API to let business owners set up payment schedules and delegate data entry, providing a user-friendly cash flow management interface. The service offers subscriptions for small and medium-sized businesses starting at about $14 per month and emphasizes anonymity and secure data storage. The company plans to expand its developer team, increase marketing, extend service into Central and South Europe, add invoicing this year, and integrate with new banks and CRM systems. Finmap currently works with companies from 12 countries and aims to enter Poland, the Czech Republic, Spain, and Turkey. Founded in 2019 by Alexander Solovey and Ivan Kaunov, the team grew from 7 to 58 specialists over the past year, and Dmitry Dubilet joined the team in early 2021.
