CENOS is a Riga-headquartered simulation and modelling platform founded in 2017 by three PhDs in physics and mathematics that aims to democratise access to engineering simulation software. The company delivers vertical-focused applications that package open-source engineering algorithms into usable interfaces, and it has already brought two simulation products to market. CENOS plans to develop and launch two further applications in 2022 and to introduce a community platform and open-source app-building in early 2023. The platform is positioned to make simulation software easy, affordable and secure for engineers and targets leadership in the Computer Aided Engineering market. The company currently has about 130 community users (academic and hobbyist) who access the software free for non-commercial use and seed its open-source contributor base.
