OpenObserve offers a single high-performance observability platform that ingests logs, metrics, traces and real user monitoring, built on an S3-native Parquet architecture that the company says delivers 140x lower storage costs with zero database management. The platform includes features for pipelines, visualization, incident management, anomaly detection and a new suite of AI capabilities such as an AI site reliability engineer (AI-SRE), as well as MCP support and LLM observability to monitor AI systems. OpenObserve highlights broad developer and enterprise adoption—its open-source project has over 18,000 GitHub stars and more than 6,000 organizations, including many Fortune 100 customers, actively using the platform. The company has expanded regional availability to the U.S. West and the EU and added hosting support on Microsoft Azure. OpenObserve was founded in 2022 and is based in Menlo Park, California, and has recently named Shani Shoham as chief revenue officer to lead commercial growth.
