  • Think Bioscience

    Participated · Series A · Jan 2026

Think Bioscience leverages a proprietary synthetic biology platform to identify previously hidden binding pockets on proteins that have long been considered undruggable. By coupling high-throughput functional surveys with protein biophysics, enzymology, and computational chemistry, the company designs first-in-class small molecules across a wide array of target classes, including transcription factors, phosphatases, kinases, proteases, and GTPases. Its lead program addresses mutant proteins that drive Noonan syndrome, a genetic disorder affecting roughly 1 in 2,500 births and currently lacking disease-modifying therapies. Beyond this flagship effort, the company is advancing a “robust internal pipeline” of additional programs built on the same discovery engine. The new Series A financing brings in significant capital to expand these programs and further validate the platform. Think Bioscience remains privately held and has not disclosed revenue or patient enrollment metrics to date.

  • Freya Biosciences

    Participated · Series A · Dec 2023

Freya Biosciences is a Copenhagen, Denmark–based transatlantic biotech focused on women’s health and microbial immunotherapies. The company develops therapies that regulate immune and inflammatory responses in the vaginal tract using its DYSCOVERTM platform. Freya has identified Lactobacillus strains capable of engrafting in the vaginal tract to displace a dysbiotic vaginal microbiome and reduce key inflammation biomarkers. Its platform has produced a lead candidate, FB301, aimed at improving pregnancy success in IVF. The company intends to use new funding to develop a microbial immunotherapy for bacterial vaginosis (BV) to address pre-term birth and potentially other maternal and newborn health indications. Freya is led by CEO Colleen Acosta. Freya Biosciences is a clinical-stage, trans‑Atlantic biotech headquartered in Copenhagen and Boston focused on microbial immunotherapies to address reproductive health. Its lead product is an investigational vaginal microbial immunotherapeutic intended to treat infertility in women with dysbiotic vaginal microbiota who are undergoing assisted reproductive technology (ART). The company also operates a multi-omics data science platform that includes deep microbiome sequencing and extensive multiplexed immune biomarker profiling on human clinical samples. Freya plans to use new funding to advance clinical development of its lead candidate and further develop its data science platform. Management cites recent positive topline clinical results as supportive of the program’s potential. The company raised a $38 million Series A to fund these activities, positioning it to expand development and evidence generation in reproductive immunotherapies.

  • EndoQuest Robotics

    Led · Series C · Dec 2023

EndoQuest Robotics develops the ELS System, a flexible endoluminal robotic surgical platform designed to treat complex gastrointestinal lesions. The company is advancing an IDE-approved pivotal PARADIGM clinical trial that aims to enroll 50 patients across five U.S. hospitals. Recent clinical milestones include two colorectal endoscopic submucosal dissection procedures performed by Dr. Eric Haas that demonstrated the system’s ability to treat lesions that would normally require more invasive surgery. Proceeds from a Series D-2 financing will support the PARADIGM trial, expedite U.S. FDA clearance, and expand early feasibility studies in the upper gastrointestinal tract. EndoQuest plans to seek market authorization in the United States upon trial completion. The company operates U.S. and Korea campuses and emphasizes capital discipline, clinical data generation, and commercialization-focused execution. EndoQuest Robotics develops a proprietary Flexible Robotic System intended to navigate and perform procedures within the body’s luminal spaces for minimally invasive GI and other endoluminal interventions. The system is under development, has not been cleared by the FDA, and is not available for commercial sale in the United States. Led by CEO Kurt Azarbarzin, the company positions itself as a frontrunner in flexible endoluminal robotics. The newly acquired capital will be used to advance research and development, achieve regulatory milestones, and support commercialization efforts. EndoQuest raised $42M in C-1 funding to drive these initiatives. Its proprietary technology aims to improve precision, flexibility, and patient outcomes while enhancing healthcare professionals’ capabilities.

  • 8fig

    Participated · Series B · May 2023

8fig, founded in 2020 and based in Austin and Israel, began by offering lending and supply-chain management tools to e-commerce businesses. It has since expanded into software, launching an AI CFO — a self-serve web application for automated cash-flow planning — plus freight management, payment functionality and a mobile app. The company says it has delivered over $500 million in funding to online sellers and in 2022 grew its customer base and annual revenue by 900% and 800%, respectively. During that period it also tripled headcount. 8fig plans to build a full AI executive suite, adding AI chief marketing officer and AI chief operating officer features later in the year. The company intends to invest the new capital in marketing and logistics tooling to help clients with planning and operations. 8fig provides equity-free flexible funding and supply chain management tools tailored to eCommerce sellers. The company combines growth planning technology with continuous, adaptable capital to help sellers manage supply chains, optimize cash flow, and receive funding aligned to their growth plans. 8fig analyzes and validates each seller's growth trajectory to deliver adaptable funding on attractive terms without taking equity, and can adjust capital and remittance schedules for real-time events like delayed shipments and demand fluctuations. The business reports rapid growth—more than 200% in six months since its seed round. 8fig will use the $50 million Series A to accelerate growth and expand its lending capabilities to more eCommerce businesses, and Silicon Valley Bank will provide a credit facility to support this expansion. The company has offices in Tel Aviv and Austin, TX, and previously raised $6.5 million in seed funding earlier this year.
