Exiles Interactives is building Centarius, a curated browser, PC/console and mobile gaming platform focused on mid-core titles that can be played instantly across devices. The service weaves social, community, competitive and reward mechanics into each game session to drive retention and engagement. By bypassing native app store policies, it aims to give indie developers multi-device reach while delivering high-quality, socially immersive gameplay for users. The company intends to collaborate with leading creators on TikTok, Twitch and YouTube and to run community campaigns and industry events once the platform launches. Recently funded, the startup will channel new capital into final product development, marketing and community-building ahead of launch. Competitors include Kongregate, CrazyGames, Poki, Roblox’s browser ecosystem and Steam Web, but Centarius differentiates itself through curation and a mid-core focus. Financially, the company is in a pre-revenue, pre-launch stage and has just closed a pre-seed round of $355,000 to support its roadmap.
