IDEAL offers a digital mortgage platform that enables buyers to compare products, calculate costs and installments, check credit instantly via IDEAL Checking, and apply to multiple banks with one set of data and real-time tracking. The platform connects to banks through APIs, provides contextual property data from developer partners, and emphasizes security to reduce manual errors and data leaks. IDEAL is currently focused on the primary housing market and monetizes through commissions from banks and property developers for successful loan applications. It is partnered with five banks, including CIMB Niaga, OCBC NISP and Maybank, and with major developers such as Sinar Mas Land, Ciputra Group and Agung Sedayu Group. The company plans to expand into secondary housing, mortgage refinancing/takeovers, launch a mortgage management dashboard, add other major lending products, and enter other Southeast Asian markets like Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam. The founding team includes Albert Surjaudaja, Ian Daniel Santoso and Indira Nur Shadrina; Jeganathan Sethu joined this year, and the startup was started last year.
